Musée de la résistance 7 Rue Neuve Saint-Étienne 87000 LIMOGES

Why Cornflower?
The cornflower is the symbol chosen to illustrate solidarity with the fighting world for several reasons: It recalls the horizon blue uniform that the young recruits, the "Bleuets", wore when joining their elders, the "Poilus", on the battlefields.
The cornflower is recognized as the French flower of remembrance, the one that grew in the mud of the trenches, the only colorful note in a devastated landscape.
Finally, blue is also one of the colours of the French Nation, the first colour of the tricolour flag.
From 8 to 13 years old. Information and reservations by telephone and by email in link.
