Expositions : Pierre Albasser de A à Z

In December, Pierre Albasser will be in the spotlight! The Cécile Sabourdy Museum is dedicating a retrospective to this serious Alsatian engineer who, once retired, revealed his long-hidden double: a whimsical creator with an inexhaustible imagination, playful and youthful, who over the years became a major figure in outsider art in France.
A curiously whimsical yet methodical draftsman, Pierre Albasser works (almost) exclusively on unfolded, but uncut, cardboard packaging from his and his partner's everyday consumption.
