Housed in a former 2014th-century presbytery in Vicq-sur-Breuilh, this museum invites you to discover an extraordinary art. Since XNUMX, it has been highlighting Naive, Raw and Singular artists through a permanent collection and daring temporary exhibitions.

    The City of Leather

    Leather, the emblematic know-how of Limousin, finds a new setting in Saint-Junien with the Cité du Cuir, which is scheduled to open in 2025. This 1 m² venue highlights glovemaking and leather crafts through an immersive museum tour, professional workshops and a meeting space. The visit continues outside along the Vienne and ends in a concept store offering gloves, leather goods and artisanal creations.

    Rochechouart, 41 minutes from Limoges

    Haute-Vienne Museum of Contemporary Art

    The Musée d'art contemporain de la Haute-Vienne, labeled Musée de France and supported by the Ministry of Culture, is located in the Château de Rochechouart.     Espace Paul Rebeyrolle

    From February to May, this exhibition space honors the artist through a selection of around fifty works from the permanent collection. During the summer, a temporary exhibition presents renowned artists, while maintaining access to part of the Rebeyrolle collection.     Designed between 1989 and 1991 by Aldo Rossi and Xavier Fabre, the CIAPV is a remarkable contemporary architectural work. Rossi's first achievement in France, this unique building fits perfectly into its island environment by echoing water, navigation and the dam. Dominated by a lighthouse, it offers a space dedicated to observation, reflection and creation.
