Finally, the wild garden on the banks of the Vienne, with Emmanuel Puybonnieux's wicker cabin, offers a bucolic and peaceful getaway.

In Losmonerie…
“Here, when we sleep, when we breathe, we are necessarily lulled by Vienna. This perpetual movement is something that gives you crazy energy. »
- Guillaume de Villelume, in Le Populaire
2. An exceptional collection of raspberries
A festive, tasty and surprisingly varied delight
Losmonerie Castle is also famous for its exceptional raspberry collection, the largest in France. Every year during the raspberry season (end of June-August), you can discover and taste raspberries in various colors and flavors : yellow, orange, purple, light or dark, fruity or sweet. These varieties come from France, Italy, England, Poland, Canada… In short, from all four corners of the world. A unique opportunity to be surprised by their taste differences. At certain times, which will be kept up to date on the website, it will be possible to collect and bring home the fruits of one's harvest.

3. The Château de Losmonerie
A dive into the history of the place
Visit Losmonerie Castle, is to dive into the history of the Renaissance and the 18th century. Built around 1535 as a “house in the fields” for Jean Chantois, a notable person from Limoges, the castle has a remarkable gallery with columns and capitals. Around 1760, a work campaign refurbished the interior in the XNUMXth century style. The castle has preserved its decor and period furniture, particularly in the large living room where a suite of eight Aubusson tapestries, classified as a Historic Monument, adorns the walls. Guided tours of part of the Castle are possible in summer or during heritage days in mid-September.

4. Games for children
To discover biodiversity while having fun
The site offers fun activities for children, visiting an enriching experience for the whole family and a discovery game on booklet with stickers is available for 4 to 12 year-olds, introducing them to good garden practices. For older children, a phone puzzle game, suitable for children from over 10 years, explores the biodiversity of the site. These educational and fun activities allow young visitors to discover nature in an interactive and educational way.

A family's passion
The Villelume family has lived in the Château de Losmonerie for 15 years. Guillaume, Laëtitia and their children, Hélie and Tamara, live in this family property inherited from the 17th century.
Passionate, they work tirelessly to preserve this historical heritage. With a team of gardeners, Guillaume de Villelume spent 10 years restoring the castle, from tapestries to roofs, respecting heritage rules. The Aubusson tapestries, period armchairs and Italian wall paintings from 1760 bear witness to their dedication.
Their commitment ensures that the castle continues to shine for future generations. Thus, they offer visitors an authentic experience, where history and modernity meet in an enchanting setting, lulled by the Vienne.
