Frac-Artothèque Nouvelle-Aquitaine

The Frac-Artothèque Nouvelle-Aquitaine is a public institution dedicated to the dissemination of contemporary art. Favoring the exchange between the artist and the public, the Frac-Artothèque organizes exhibitions, cultural activities (visits, workshops, art history courses, readings, conferences, etc.) and develops numerous partnerships with other cultural structures (museums, theaters, etc.), but also with local communities.

Renovated by Jakob+MacFarlane, the Frac-Artothèque Nouvelle-Aquitaine is located in a former industrial site in Limoges. This 1900 m² space, bathed in natural light, offers an immersive experience thanks to digital tools serving artists and contemporary creation. Among the digital tools is “The Immersive Box” with two connected experiences.
