Musée de la Résistance
This cultural establishment in the city of Limoges illustrates the civic and solidarity values carried by the Resistance during the Second World War. Dedicated to all those who sacrificed themselves to defend the fundamental values of the Republic, its vocation is to keep the memory alive by offering an educational place and the dissemination of information. Located in the former convent of the Sisters of Providence in the heart of the Cité district, it offers a museographic tour rigorously retracing the historical facts of the Second World War and particularly the Resistance, the occupation and the deportation in Haute-Vienne.
