Where to park a coach in Limoges?
Several locations free reserved for tourist coaches are accessible 24 hours a day in the hyper city center of Limoges. Parking in these spaces does not require any specific administrative procedures:
- 13 Bd de Fleurus, opposite the Tourist Office
- 5 Rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud, street located along the Hôtel de Ville (on the left)
- Cours Bugeaud, along the Champ de Juillet, opposite the Limoges-Bénédictins SNCF train station

By car, Limoges is 390 km from Paris, 290 km from Toulouse, 400 km from Lyon and 220 km from Bordeaux.

The Limoges Métropole Tourist Office puts its expertise at your service to offer you programs adapted to the constraints expressed. Thus, the visits provided by our team of tour guides can be adjusted, depending on the themes, to people with reduced mobility but also to visually impaired and/or blind people. The circuits can be reworked to correspond to your request. Concerning the hearing impaired, it is also possible, for certain visits, to call on an interpreter in LSF.

Is there a minimum number of people required to organize a group outing with the Tourist Office?
For any reservation of guided tours provided by a City of Art and History tour guide, there is no minimum required. Visits can be organized from a single person. For certain themes such as the Règle underground or the St Martial crypt, there is however a maximum of 18 people not to be exceeded.
For all other reservation (Tourist train, museums, porcelain factories, transport, etc.), services are generally provided on the basis of a minimum number of people. For more details, we contact us..
Can I organize my outing on a Sunday or a public holiday?
all guided tours provided by a tour guide City of art and history are bookable – depending on availability, on the date of your choice – Sundays, public holidays or at night. Visits requiring access to a private site (museums, porcelain factories, etc.) are subject to the opening times and dates of each location. For more details, contact us. !
Who are the guides who provide guided tours offered by the Tourist Office services?
The City of Limoges is labeled City of art and history. Thus, all guided tours offered by the Tourist Office services (excluding visits to private sites) are provided by a team of 4 City of Art and History tour guides. These 4 qualified guides are attached to the Limoges City of Art and History Service, thus guaranteeing the quality of the content offered. Our guides can also speak in ENGLISH and GERMAN. Tours in SPANISH are also possible. For this, we use two independent Spanish-speaking tour guides.
I have a special diet, do you offer restaurants with adapted menus?
Our sales department works with different restaurants in Limoges and its surroundings. All are able to offer menus adapted to the diets and allergies mentioned when booking.
How to move between two activities?
You have booked a stay or a day with our sales department.
Two scenarios are possible:
1) You have rented a tourist coach: It is your carrier who will ensure travel between two sites during your stay/day
2) You come with your personal cars, or in train :
- Our service can call on a local carrier to ensure on-site transfers during your stay/day.
- If your reservation is for a single day, it is possible to put together a programme allowing you to make all the necessary trips on foot and/or with the help of the Little Tourist Train.
Can the Tourist Office take care of transportation?
