Every 2 years in September, the capital of porcelain offers tasty encounters between products of excellence & Tableware, gastronomy & design, chefs & porcelain makers... From September 22 to 24, 2023, for its 10th edition, Limoges is transformed again in a large Gourmet Village! Squares and emblematic places host events all over the city: chefs' huts and their tasting plates, porcelain exhibitors, demonstrations and culinary workshops, gala dinner, exceptional lunch and brunch...

Hats and Porcelain is one of the key events in Limoges cultural life. The principle of the long-awaited biennale is simple: to associate great chefs Asked manufactures and Limoges porcelain workshops: an opportunity to admire the know-how deployed but also to taste local products declined in exceptional recipes!

5 starred chefs in the spotlight!

Great novelty in 2023, the 10th edition is not limited to a guest of honor but welcomes 5 prestigious and starred national chefs! The 5-star brigade, made up of Nina Métayer, Fanny Rey, Tom Meyer, Alan Taudon and Thibaut Spiwack, has planned to officiate alongside many chefs, porcelain makers, producers and artisans during the three days of the event. 

But Toques & Porcelains are also exceptional local chefs not to be missed: Emmanuel BASSOT, David BOYER, François DURGUEIL & Jérémy TRICARD, Grégory LAFARGUE, Alain MOREAU, Didier PALARD, Philippe POISIER, Guy QUEROIX, Philippe REDON & l' Association of Toques Blanches du Limousin.

The Gourmet & Creative Village
Republic Square

For 3 days, the Place de la République is transformed into a large village of chefs, porcelain makers, craftsmen, producers, agricultural sectors, partners. With entertainment for young and old, there is also a stage on site for culinary workshops, competitions, chef battles, concerts... And above all, treat yourself to the tasting plates offered in each chalet, specially made from the best chefs in the region.

Entertainment all over town

Demonstrations, tastings, culinary workshops, cooking and dressage competitions … We won't get bored and we'll have a blast!

  • The giant vegetable garden Place de la Motte : it is making a comeback to dress the large square in greenery facing the Central halls, the temple of Limoges gastronomy.
  • The Verdurier Pavilion : presence of training centers in ceramics and food trades, but also games & various activities... 

Also, find out porcelain contest for the production of the container that will serve as the starter for the gala dinner. Six ceramics and design students from ENSAD are taking part in the competition.

  • SAT 23 SEPT, 12 PM | Lunch gastronomy by Chef David Boyer at the Hospices Gallery
  • SAT 23 SEPT, 20 PM | A 5-star Gala dinner produced by 5 starred chefs which will take place at ENSAD, National School of Art and Design in Limoges.

  • SUN 24 SEP, 12 PM | Great gourmet brunch by chef Romain Mittaud in the beautiful Town Hall, Louis-Longequeue room.
