The beach not far from Limoges
The Palais sur Vienne takes its name from the Jocondiac Palace built on the remains of a Gallo-Roman villa at the beginning of the Christian era. In the heart of the city you will find an art deco style town hall and not far from it, the Church of the Decollation-of-Saint-Jean-Baptiste dating from the thirteenthe century.
The Nautical Base du Palais-sur-Vienne offers a multitude of activities to do with family or friends: canoeing, kayaking, rowing, mountain biking, archery, climbing… etc, what fun! In a green surroundings you can discover the fauna and flora or look for some gold nuggets...
For those who prefer to relax, take a dip in the Sabliere beach, closest to Limoges! The perfect place to refresh and this loosen the summer. If you want to stay there we can only recommend Le Puy Snow, a charming little gite in France with a beautiful private garden. The opportunity to stay there for a few days and enjoy 100% of all the activities in the Palais-sur-Vienne.
