The shores of lake of Saint-Pardoux offer 3 beaches for swimming : the sites of Santrop, Chabannes and Fréaudour, where it is also possible to enjoy a day of fishing with friends or many water activities: pedal boats, sailing boats, paddleboards... and aquatic activities with its Aqua-recreational complex : slides, jets and water games...
Not really tempted by swimming? A 20 km walking tour goes around the lake on foot or by all-terrain electric scooter Trott'In Lake for a more atypical visit.
For the more adventurous, the site of Saint-Pardoux offers a wide range of sensational activities whether in the air with tree climbing or offshore on a wake board with “lake wake park”.

Lac de Vassivière or the little Canada of Limousin
À 60 kilometer(s) from Limoges hides a magical place where the abundant nature takes back its rights and leaves the possibility of escaping for a day in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Millevaches. Vassiviere, one of the largest artificial lakes in France, offers a delicious spectacle between fauna and flora with Canadian airs, to be savored throughout the year.
Discover this site protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral, on foot, on horseback, by bicycle or even on the back of a donkey. A stop at the dam is strongly recommended, to take advantage of magnificent views of the lake (even more beautiful at sunset).
Need a calm and exotic parenthesis the option of the sound walk, a boat trip or a fishing trip are also offered on the site.
As for the more adventurous, they will opt for a trip to the heart of Vassivière Island unmissable and magical, with its International Center for Contemporary Art and Landscape, its Lighthouse for a 360° view and the Wood of Sculptures.
