  • 20 g of sweet or salted butter (from The Fayes Dairy)
  • 50 g brown sugar
  • 2-3 Golden AOP apples from Limousin

Preparing the dough

  • Using a pastry brush, lightly brush a sheet of parchment paper with butter. 
  • Roll out your dough and cut it if necessary with a sharp knife without pressing too hard, so as not to crush the puff pastry.
  • Then place your circle of puff pastry on the buttered and sugared sheet.
  • Reserve in the refrigerator while you prepare the apples.

Preparing the apples

  • Peel the Golden apples, then cut them into thin slices using a mandolin.
  • Arrange the apple slices in a rosette shape on the dough, placing them about 2 cm from the edge.
  • Brush the apples lightly with melted butter then sprinkle with brown sugar.

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C in fan-assisted heat.
  • Cook the apples for about 30 minutes, until they are golden brown.
