By bus or trolley

Make your travels in Limoges easier with the STCL bus network, which serves the main districts and surrounding towns.

Since January 6, 2024, the Modalis card, ecological and practical, allows you to travel on the TCL network and its partners in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Plan your trip on modalis.fr, visit bus timetables, the rates and buy your tickets online on the e-shop or the Modalis application.

Also take advantage of innovations such as direct payment by contactless bank card with a unit rate of €1,50 or the Liberté formula, which allows you to travel and pay at the end of the month at the advantageous rate of €1,35 per trip.

Take advantage of free weekend transport in Limoges Métropole!

From the 1st July 2025, public transport (bus, trolley, Telobus, Handibus) are 100% free du Saturday morning to Sunday eveningThis experiment will last at least 12 to 18 months.

How it works ?

No ticket or validation toilet bag : you just have to go up through the front door.
Valid on all TCL lines of Limoges Metropolis (except regional lines).
No ticket required during the weekend.

Visitor information

🕒 Schedule : From the first service on Saturday morning (4:50 a.m.) until the last service on Sunday evening (0:45).
Holidays : free admission only applies if they fall on a Saturday or Sunday.
Accessibility: The measure also concerns the Telobus and the Handibus for people with reduced mobility (PRM).
Prices: In Week, pricing is changing, including a drop in subscriptions and advantageous packages.

By free electric shuttle

Tired of walking or need a helping hand to get around? Take advantage of the free electric shuttles to stroll around the city center with complete peace of mind. Set up by Limoges Metropolis, they circulate Wednesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 18:30 p.m. without interruption with a passage every 8 minutes. These shuttles serve the pedestrian areas and commercial areas of the city center with stops on demand. They pass through Place de la République, rue Jean Jaurès, Town Hall, rue Banc Léger, Les Halles district, place d'Aine, rue A. Dubouché, rue des Combes, but also the city center car parks (Place de la République, Town Hall, Place de la Motte, Place d’Aine, etc.). Non-polluting and friendly, they can accommodate 22 people and are accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM).
