A major festival with renowned artists
The 1001 Notes Festival is revolutionizing classical music by adopting an innovative approach. It fuses different styles, crosses eras and rejects superfluous conventions. William Christie, Barbara Hendricks, Jean-François Zygel, Alexandre Tharaud, Juliette Armanet, Chilly Gonzales, Nemanja Radulovic, Oxmo Puccino… They have all played, to the great delight of a loyal and addicted audience. musical surprises, more than 1001 notes in Limousin.





Concerts for the 2025/2026 season
While waiting for the big return of the 1001 Notes festival this summer, the 2025/2026 concert season opens the ball! 20 years of the 1001 Notes festival
In 2025, the 1001 Notes Festival celebrated its 20 years by rolling out its red carpet at the Limoges Olympic Ice Rink. July 15-19, 2025, 9 concerts followed one another in 5 days. Renowned artists marked the event: pianist Khatia Buniatishvili, Jean-François Zygel revisiting Walt Disney classics, or even virtuoso violinist Nemanja Radulovic with a program entirely dedicated to Bach… All knew how to break the ice!

The festival village… a whole spirit
Without missing a single one concerts organized every day for a week, you will enjoy the festival atmosphere in the heart of the partner village. It is the time to meet the artists and partners who share a passion for – more or less – classical music. They are keen to open it up to a wide audience in a relaxed, friendly and gourmet summer atmosphere. In particular, you will find places where eat and have a drink, aperitif-concerts completely free, as well as activities for children between two musical escapes. Access is open and free, without the need to present an entry ticket!
