Became a unmissable event in Limoges, the Zébrures d'Automne creative festival lets you discover the world of live shows through le theater and music. It invites you to travel and discover the French-speaking world through meetings, debates, readings, stories and films and documentaries. Come and discover what great French-speaking center of writing and contemporary creation in Limousin!

Explore the streets of beautiful Limoges and discover places where international artists have a free voice! The festival organizing team is happy to welcome you to the House of Francophonies au 11 avenue du General de Gaulle in Limoges. You will find many activities there all year round and a real home during the Festival.
Discover 12 places who will welcome you from September 25 to October 5, 2024 such as'Opera, the Jean-Gagnant Municipal Cultural Center, Union Theater, and theNoriac area. Don't miss other emblematic sites like the Lido, the House of Arts and Dance (formerly CCM Jean-Moulin), the BFM Downtown, And the Place de la Motte. If you want to explore beyond Limoges, also head to Jean Lurçat Theater at Aubusson andSophie Dessus Auditorium in Uzerche.
Focus History of the event
En 1984, Monique Blin and Pierre Debauchery, at the time director of the Center National Dramatique du Limousin embarked on the incredible adventure of creating a festival that they would call The Francophonies. A soft and harmonious marriage between the dance, theater and music francophone from all over the world. The festival is not simply intended to bring together and entertain, one of its main functions desired by its founders is learning and sharing. Over the years, this meeting has become a real meeting of artists and a place for the dissemination of theatrical works, allowing give voice to contemporary authors in their native languages.
Hassane Kassi Kouyaté – Director of Francophonies
Hassane Kassi Kouyaté, tall passionate about the performing arts, takes a few years later, the direction of the Francophonies and renames them “Les Zébrures”. It also allows this international cultural event to occur twice a year in spring and autumn, a real boon for regulars of the event.
