Temporary exhibition at the Limoges Tourist Office

Until May 31, come and discover a unique exhibition of pastel artists' works from the private collection of the City of Limoges.

You will be able to admire in particular The Tidy Box, emblematic work ofAlain Bellanger and centerpiece of the exhibition, alongside other pastels in varied techniques and styles, ranging from realism to impressionism.

Whether you are a pastel lover or simply curious, treat yourself to a colorful trip to the Tourist Office, while waiting for the launch of the 24th edition!

The Festival is proud to welcome internationally renowned artists as well as emerging talent come from all over the world. These passionate creators share their know-how and their passion with the public during demonstrations,workshops. and international conferences. Visitors have the opportunity to meet these exceptional artists, to exchange with them and to learn more about the different techniques and approaches used in pastel art. This highlight of the summer is therefore a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the captivating world of pastels and to draw inspiration from these masters of color.

Olga Abramova: Guest of Honor at the 24th International Pastel Festival

Olga Abramova is a Moscow artist specializing in pastel and charcoal paintings. Co-founder and Honorary President of the National Pastel Society of Russia, she directed 15 exhibition projects between 2018 and 2023. After studying textile design and art teaching, she explored the use of pastel combined with other materials, creating works where the empty space is as significant as the objects.

She has participated in many international exhibitions and in 2019, one of his still lifes won a Gold Award at the IAPS Biennial in the United States. Her work is present in private and museum collections, including the Pastel Museum in China. Olga has also published a book on pastel and has been named “Eminent Pastelist” by IAPS.
