Because the people of Limoges really like to stand out, in Limoges, Bastille Day is on July 13th, not July 14th! Yes, you read that right, we prefer to be early. For Bastille Day, Limoges invites you to a dazzling show. Get ready for a magical evening with a spectacular fireworks display that will light up the city sky.

The celebrations will begin on Sunday, July 13th at 17:30 p.m. with the official ceremony and military parade on Place Jourdan. Starting at 20:30 p.m., the Aloha band will perform a musical performance at the Champ-de-Juillet. The evening will conclude with fireworks around 22:30 p.m., followed by a public dance.

The main events will take place on the Place de la Jourdan and the Champ de Juillet. The detailed program will be available online on the website of the city of Limoges and that of the Tourist Office.

  • July 13 from 8 a.m. to 20 p.m. place Jourdan (from avenue Garibaldi to cours Jourdan and from n°29 to 24).
  • July 13 from 20 a.m. to 22 p.m. place Jourdan (between and in the direction cours Jourdan – avenue Garibaldi on the 2 traffic lanes closest to rue d'Isly).
  • From July 13 at 8 a.m. to July 14 at 3 a.m. rue d'Isly (between rue des Feuillants and place Jourdan).
  •  From July 13 at 13:30 p.m. to July 14 at 3 a.m. rue d'Isly (between rue des Feuillants and cours Bugeaud), impasse d'Isly, cours Jourdan, rue des Feuillants and De Brettes, avenue Garibaldi (between the Tourny crossroads and cours Gay-Lussac).
  • Halles Centrales car park : Located in the city center, ideal for quick access to events.
  • Republic car park : In the heart of the city, near Place de la République.
  • Montjovis car park : Near the Bénédictins station, a little further away but well served by public transport.
  • Churchill car park : Well located and easily accessible.
  • Town Hall car park : Convenient for accessing events in the city center.
  • Casseaux car park : Another option for parking near the center.

It is possible to get there by bus. Two night lines are also available to allow you to come and return home by public transport: line 21 (from L. Serpollet to Ch. Le Gendre) and line 22 (from Mal Jofre to Puy Ponchet). You can consult timetables and routes on the Limoges city website or on the local transport company website.
