The great Spring Cavalcade returns on Sunday, May 18 in the streets of Limoges. There are ten colorful parade floats, festive activities and musical shows! So, what are you waiting for to put on your most beautiful suits ?

A festive and musical event
Replacing the March carnival, the parade of the cavalcade takes place every year in mid-May in the city center from Limoges on a route of 1,3 km. Each year it brings together nearly 75,000 people who came to cheer the event. This features around ten tanks accompanied byanimations and musical groups on a city route of July Field à l’hôtel de ville. THEthe public is warmly invited to dress up and participate in the parade.

The parade schedule
- 12h – Discovery of the ten floats decorated by the municipal workshops: “Looney Tunes South Korea version”, “Rio”, “Mother Nature”, “Magic Parade”, “The Jungle Bunch”, “Vegas”, without forgetting those of the Flash FM radio (partner of the event), the Gueules Sèches, the Miss Limoges Committee, as well as a float dedicated to confetti.
- 13h to 15h – Broadcast of a live show by Flash FM from the Champ-de-Juillet
- From 15h – Start of the stroll from the Champ-de-Juillet to the town hall (Square Jacques Chirac)
The course
The cavalcade procession will set off from 15 p.m., following the following route:
boulevard Louis-Blanc, square Jacques-Chirac.

- Rue Jean Jaures

Entertainment
Like every year, the Cavalcade invites you to meet its traditional parade of floats, whose Miss Limoges's float and her Maids of Honor, accompanied by costumed groups and musical entertainment of all styles: folk groups, traditional or carnival parade bands, bands and dance and artistic entertainment. And of course, brass band of the Gueules Sèches will be there, guest of honor every year with more than one hundred years of existence !
