With 600,000 visitors each year, the Limoges Christmas market is the unmissable winter event for the whole family! From November 28 to December 28, 2025, come and enjoy the gourmet chalets on Place de la République and Place de la Motte, twirl on the indoor roller skating rink, admire the light show at nightfall on the Basilica of Saint-Michel-des-Lions and, of course, meet Santa Claus!

The Christmas Market for Artisanal and Gourmet Products
The central square of Limoges brings together about sixty gourmet chalets, showcasing know-how and gift ideas.

Free toboggan and rollerblading tracks
Enjoy the three-lane toboggan run and the 350 m² roller skating rink with a dedicated children's area.

Shows and parades
In the village and in the heart of the pedestrianized town center, about ten shows, strolls and entertainment Free will punctuate the entire month of December. You may come across Olaf, the mascot snowman walking around the market.

On the facade of the Basilica of Saint-Michel-des-Lions
The sound and light show “Whispers of Stars”
Just behind the Place de la Motte, come and experience every evening the free sound and light show “Whispers of Stars” Projected onto the façade of the Basilica of Saint-Michel-des-Lions, after having illuminated that of the Church of Saint-Pierre in previous years, this video mapping was created by the company Enluminures.

The market for local artisans and producers
In Place Saint-Étienne, you will find the market for artisans and producers Organized by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts and the Chamber of Agriculture. Around one hundred exhibitors invite you to discover their unique creations and their delicious local products.

The Christmas pop-up shop
The Pavillon du Verdurier is hosting a pop-up Christmas shop consisting of 25 artisans and producers from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Come and discover unique creations for gifts that have heart!

Take the free shuttle during the Christmas market!
During the holidays, every 10-15 minutes, the free shuttle travels the Limoges city center So that you can fully enjoy the activities without getting tired (it's surprisingly hilly in Limoges). Two special routes are in place throughout December:
- “Cathedral” Route From December 12th to 23rd, passage every 15 minutes
- Christmas Activities Itinerary from November 28th to December 11th and from December 24th to 28th (except December 25th), passage every 10 minutes
