Le Saturday 18 May 2024, the Limoges museums will come alive on the occasion of the 20th edition of the European Night of Museums. Lots of activities are on the program: Cluedo on ceramics Adrien Dubouché Museum, immersive strolls through works of Fine Arts, insect manipulations to the city of Insects and many others! Bring your flashlight and your curiosity to discover the hidden treasures of our museums…

A clue about porcelain at the Adrien Dubouché museum

2 sessions, at 19 p.m. and 20:30 p.m. – Rediscover the museum after dark through a narrated visit with storyteller Joëlle Pascale. Immerse yourself in captivating stories that will bring the museum’s treasures to life. Duration: 45 minutes. from 6 years old. Limited places, reservation on site on the day. De 20h to 22h30 – Participate in a giant Cluedo in the Adrien Dubouché museum with family ! Equipped with a game booklet, you will have to explore the ceramic collections in search of clues to solve the enigma. A conference visit to the Four des Casseaux

21pm to 22pm – Participate in a evening conference visit to the Four des Casseaux Museum, classified as a Historic Monument. On the occasion of the new exhibition “Selected Works” from May 2, 2024 to January 5, 2025, discover these unique masterpieces from private collections, from Impressionism to Art Nouveau through the creations of the Cercle Turgot. Living paintings at the Museum of Fine Arts

From 21 h - Three talented artists take over the rooms of the Museum of Fine Arts to offer you a trilogue on Art. Let yourself be guided into the world of three living paintings: with Léonor Boyot Gellibert (Porcelain Woman), Perrine Wanegue (Living Model) and Sandra Abouav (Whisper). Duration: 1 hour.

Historical strolls at the resistance museum

2 performances, at 20 p.m. and 21:30 p.m. – The Espace Simone Veil of the Musée de la Résistance invites you to the heart of occupied France with the concert “And We Always Laughed” proposed by the duo from the Compagnie La Voie des Arts in Veil, Nathalie Marcillac (vocals) and Frédéric Valy (accordion).
