Street art is coming to the Limoges area!
For this new edition, the Urbaka Festival is extending the festivities in two partner municipalities of the event in the region: Feytiat and Beaune-les-MinesThis extension of the festival beyond Limoges aims to bring art and culture closer to the inhabitants. Two additional dates July 5 and 6, will delight street art lovers and the simply curious, with a creation by the company The Criers : a play entitled Vata Company, halfway between clowning, acrobatics and the art of speech. A complete show that will take you on a gentle journey between poetry and humanity.
The Urbaka village
A gourmet village with the appearance of a guinguette will be located in one of the paths of the Bishopric garden, leading to the pond. Food trucks, refreshment stands, local products and exotic flavors, typical dishes and refreshing desserts will delight the taste buds of young and old alike. Please note: dry toilets will be available at the entrance to the village, for added comfort.
In addition to eating in the Urbaka village, you can also discover artisans and take part in activities throughout the festival:
- Mimi and Tisrawt's Thrift Store: to be found on Thursday June 26 and Friday June 27 from 17 p.m. to 22 p.m., Saturday June 28 from 11 a.m. to 22 p.m. and Sunday June 29 from 11 a.m. to 20 p.m.
- Animation of the House of the Deaf: every afternoon of the festival.
- Animation of the Association of Guide Dogs for the Blind: every afternoon of the festival.

What is the Urbaka Festival?
The Urbaka Festival is a festival on street arts (theater, circus, acrobatics, pyrotechnic performance, etc.) offered by national and international professional companies. This free event takes place during 4 days at the end of June, transforming the streets of Limoges, particularly the cathedral district, into a veritable open-air theater. Urbaka brings squares, squares, lawns and fountains back to life, creating spaces conducive to exchanges and meetings between individuals.

However, OFF companies come to test their shows during this event and are therefore not paid by the festival for their performances. This is why they will pass at the end of their performance with a hat, in order to finance their visit, with a free participation.
Can we eat on site during the Urbaka festival?
Yes, the Urbaka Festival usually offers a variety of food trucks, food stand where you can enjoy delicious local and international cuisine in addition to the refreshment bar present at the festival.
Payments at the refreshment bar are made exclusively with tokensYou can purchase these tokens at the festival reception before any consumption. Food trucks accept standard payments (cash, credit card) without the use of tokens.
