The gourmet village of Urbaka
A gourmet village with a festive, open-air café atmosphere will be set up each year in one of the paths of the Bishop's Garden, leading to the basin. Food trucks, refreshment stands, local products and exotic flavors, typical dishes and refreshing desserts will delight the taste buds of young and old alike. Please note: dry toilets will be available at the entrance to the village, for added comfort.

What is the Urbaka Festival?
The Urbaka Festival is a festival on street arts (theater, circus, acrobatics, pyrotechnic performance, etc.) offered by national and international professional companies. This free event takes place during 3 days at the end of June, transforming the streets of Limoges, particularly the cathedral district, into a veritable open-air theater. Urbaka brings squares, squares, lawns and fountains back to life, creating spaces conducive to exchanges and meetings between individuals.
When and where is the Urbaka Festival 2026?
For the 2026 edition, the festival will take place from 25th - 27th June 2026. It takes place in the city district especially Place Saint-Etienne at the foot of the cathedral et in the gardens of the Bishopric.
Is the Urbaka Festival free?
All entertainment and shows are accessible free of charge throughout the duration of the event and without reservation.
However, OFF companies come to test their shows during this event and are therefore not paid by the festival for their performances. This is why they will pass at the end of their performance with a hat, in order to finance their visit, with a free participation.
Can we eat on site during the Urbaka festival?
Yes, the Urbaka Festival usually offers a variety of food trucks, food stand where you can enjoy delicious local and international cuisine in addition to the refreshment bar present at the festival.
Payments at the refreshment bar are made exclusively with tokensYou can purchase these tokens at the festival reception before any consumption. Food trucks accept standard payments (cash, credit card) without the use of tokens.
