During the journey, a non-alcoholic bar will be made available to you. To eat, don't forget to bring your picnic. You will also have the opportunity to eat on site in one of the typical restaurants.
Are dogs allowed on board the steam train?
- Guide dogs for the blind are obviously accepted.
- Small or medium dogs are accepted on the sole condition of being positioned in a basket or closed container provided for this purpose. Keeping a leash alone is not enough and neither is carrying it on your lap alone. This is for two main reasons: the presence of large numbers of children and the different running conditions of a conventional train (more eddies, more jolts and sudden noises – notably hissing – which can frighten even a dog who has the habit of traveling) making the situation more unpredictable than usual.
