Limoges, 1940-1944

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Limoges, August 21, 1944, City of Art and History has put together a new visit for you. From the Coutures city, to the Champ de Juillet, via the Gare des Bénédictins, the history of Limoges under the Occupation will be told to you. Go and meet places of memory linked to the Second World War: daily life, war events and Resistance actions are discussed during this visit.
