By a surprising coincidence, it is on the site of the ancient forum that the town hall was built, inaugurated in 1883. The architect Charles-Alfred Leclerc was inspired by the town hall of Paris. On a granite base, the limestone facade combines late Renaissance and Louis XIII styles. Four famous Limogeauds appear on the mosaic medallions: the enameller Léonard Limosin, the chancellor of Aguesseau, the revolutionary Vergniaud and the marshal of the Empire Jourdan. Before leaving the place, take a break at the edge of the fountain of the square nicely decorated with porcelain plaques.
