Le Corot website à Saint-Junien is a preserved natural environment, dedicated to the painter Jean Baptiste Corot, who found inspiration in the beauty of the landscape.

The walk is very pleasant and is very popular with Saint-Juniauds who like to come and walk there on the hottest summer days to enjoy the coolness of the undergrowth.

Access to the Corot site is via Bas Châtelard, on the site of the Saint Helena rock A car park and a picnic area have been set up, which is the starting point for the many hiking trails.

Le Reynou Zoo Park, a few minutes from Limoges in the commune of Vigen, brings together more than 150 animal species from all continents.

Well sheltered in the heart of a landscaped park, tigers, snow leopards, marmosets, giraffes, ostriches, antelopes, raccoons etc., introduce you to observation and make you aware of the importance of wildlife preservation. The latest arrivals are the adorable ones red pandas !

From 6 years old and on reservation, it is even possible to become day care worker. In the program, go behind the scenes at the zoo and participate in animal care. It's a unforgettable experience allowing you to experience privileged moments in contact with animals.

The Reynou zoo park is accessible from 10 a.m. to 19:30 p.m. every day until September. From October 1, opening hours and days may vary.

For laze, many beaches are furnished. The opportunity to perfect your tan, build sandcastles with the children and cool off in the lake or at the swimming pools.

The nautical activities are queens and here everything is possible, from the practice of Sheer au water skiing, going through the towed buoy. Of course, we also find the canoeing , paddle boarding and pedalo.

But that's not all. It would be a shame not to try the fabulous park ofTree Climbing park with many routes and zip lines that will make you brush the calm waters of the lake. Many other sports activities are accessible such as archery, Moutain Biking,climbing, tennis and equestrian activities. Of course, many hiking trails are equipped and one of them will allow you to go around the lake in 4h30 (18 km).

The role of insects is essential for theecological balance of the planet and yet they are often misunderstood and unloved. The City of Insects à Nedde has made it its mission to raise awareness and explain to the public and children the importance and role of these little creatures found in our environment.

The visit is Interactive and children will be able to participate in a treasure hunt throughout the visit. A real anthill is presented in such a way as to see inside it and better understand the secret life of ants. You may encounter other living insects such as stick insects and praying mantises.

Once the visit to the museum is over, you can go from theory to practice and you walk in the gardens looking for insects according to their environment. At the end of the visit, the bravest and most curious can even eat insects !
