All week long, the rue de la soif de Limoges offers a selection of bars and complementary restaurants, to satisfy your appetite in mainly international cuisines (From French cuisine to Limoges products of course!). Starting from the top of the street, we present the restaurants of this iconic street!

Salam, Moroccan tagine

Salam is an atypical restaurant on the street, because its cuisine is renowned and its hours are limited. Indeed, it reopened on Friday and Saturday noon and evening. Rachid and Corinne will therefore welcome you to help you discover the Moroccan flavors; maybe before a trip Limoges-Marrakesh ?

The little extra: the dishes are also to take away and there is also a wide selection of pastries

The king of couscous

The King of Couscous, a must-see store on rue Charles Michels, welcomes you to discover a delicious couscous and plentiful. The accompaniments, meats or vegetables will make you discover new flavors each time. The cuisine is homemade and the welcome is very warm. This Moroccan couscous is to be enjoyed with family or friends, in a pleasant place in winter and a sunny terrace in summer. We can only advise you to go there. Note, the King of Couscous is also open on Sundays.

The little extra: we really feel welcome and we don't hesitate to help you !

George T, Italian restaurant and pizzeria

At George T, enjoy a place and simple cuisine that will delight your taste buds before continuing the evening in a bar on rue Charles Michels. Pizzas, gourmet pasta and croque-bonhommes can be enjoyed at the same time as an aperitif.

The little extra: the pizzas can be taken across the street to eat them with a Concept aperitif

George T

Ichiban Sushi, a good Japanese

You couldn't have a street with international cuisine without having good Japanese like ichiban sushi in his heart. In an original decor, choose from a well-filled menu (like your stomachs following your visit) and complete menus for all gourmets. Makis, sashimi, salmon rolls, sushi, temaki, yakitori, so many names to take you on a journey to the land of the rising sun in the capital of the arts of fire. To your chopsticks!

The little extra: when you take sushi, you also have delicious cabbage and soup

The San Marco

7/7 noon and evening, the San Marco welcomes you to make you discover a diversity of Italian dishes. This restaurant is always available to welcome you, including a nice terrace between the calm and the festive life of the rue de la Soif. Also, the San Marco has a real desire to discover the products of our region by working for example with the Jardin d'Arnaud, Ribet Beyrant, the farm of Beauregard, Coudert, Michard...

The little extra: a varied menu that will meet all your desires

La Timbale, traditional cuisine

We come back to a French cuisine and above all tasty! Restaurant The Timpani welcomes you in the evenings to make you live a superb evening, filled with pretty flavors. The meal is very generous and the food is delicious. Eric, the chef, will make you discover different flavors in homemade dishes. For us it is an address with a good quality-quantity-price ratio, in the heart of the historic district. We will come back to it.

La Gondola, delicious Italian

With an ambitious vision about to superb terrace also, the gondola complements its Italian counterparts George T and San Marco, with all types of Italian dishes; of the delicious pizzas, tasty starters or “Scaloppines”, delicious cutlets. We are well spoiled in terms of Italian cuisine!

The little extra: a smiling team and efficient service that confirms the quality of the restaurant

Mamacita

Mamacita, this is the new mexican restaurant in the heart of rue de la soif limougeaude. Spice up your evening with the different dishes prepared by the chef. Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos or a bowl of chili will make you travel to the cacti of Mexico and Cancun. Fresh products that come to garnish all your dishes, in a more or less spicy way. Able to taste the exxxtra hot pepper sauce?

Tan Saigon

Le Tan Saigon is a simple and very nice place where we are received as friends by the owners. Dishes are both plentiful and delicious for price accessible to all, especially with its lunch menu. You will have the choice between a kitchen vVietnamese, Thai and Japanese, enough to test new dishes typical of Asia. A very good address for a break between noon and two or before going for a drink in the rue de la Soif.

The little extra: a quality welcome, very smiling

Grandma Bigoude

Grandma Bigoude, it's a colorful concept. Here, the granny starts from the famous recipe of the cake : water, flour, buckwheat and salt and then she adds all the most delicious ingredients that your stomach wants to taste. Rather ham, raclette, salmon, duck or Curry vegetables ? The journey is also made with the atypical decor, colorful and rather wacky restaurant. You have to see it to believe it. So, open your eyes and your stomach wide and head for Mamie Bigoude.

The Acolyte

Down the street of thirst, the Acolyte is a traditional restaurant very welcoming. In a beautiful interior space or on the terrace, come and discover different dishes where meat is often at the heart of the different flavors. There is something for everyone and at lunchtime, you will find different formulas accessible to eat well. Will you find the ideal sidekick to accompany you?

From now on, before we prepare an article for you on the "rue de la bouffe", do not hesitate to send us your selection of favorite bars and restaurants !
